Death of a Fish

Several days ago while I was helping a room full of teeming third-graders glaze their leaf plates, I overheard a child candidly exlaim: "We pray, and then we flush!"

I believe they were referring to the disposal of their, alas, dead fish - not a new method of teaching the young their prayers in tandem with potty training.  

...But it does make one pause...

Today, a poor, nameless fellow made an amazingly awkward phrasing fumble in Japanese class.

 "いそがしそうな女の人のにくはおいしそうです。"

Translated: "The busy looking lady's meat looks tasty."
